Plasma cutting

Posted March 18, 2011

Plasma cutting is an effective procedure for steel and other metals cutting. Plasma, an inert gas blown to high speed from a nozzle, uses the principle of thermal barrier, which consists in giving heat to the metallic material until it overcomes the melting point and breaks the continuity of the plate. It is particularly suitable for cutting metal sheet  in stainless steel and light alloys, thanks to a subtle and penetrating plasma column, can be cut  using relatively low electrical power. The minimum thickness that can be cut with plasma is 0.5 mm with acceptable surface conditions.
When you buy used plasma cutting machines, the equipment must be accompanied by technical information and by the warranty card and instructions for use and maintenance, showing the info required to run with no risk, its use, transport, installation and / or assembly (disassembly), adjustment, maintenance and repair of the machine.
This documentation must also provide information on both the power and sound vibrations.
Manufacture, sale, rental and lease of equipment engine, machinery and so on. not in compliance with laws and regulations
safety are  forbidden.
Before the introduction of tools, equipment, motor equipment and so on a periodical control must be made to check the status of repair, carried out by qualified personnel able to carry out any necessary repairs.
In case of operations such as adjustment, repair or replace of parts of the machine only approved parts and accessories must be used, as provided in the owner's maintenance .
